Mr Roux is a leading consultant urologist with a special interest in kidney stones and minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgery. He promotes rapid investigations and treatment for haematuria(blood in the urine), voiding dysfunction and suspected prostate, bladder, kidney or testicular cancer.

After becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Mr Roux was appointed consultant urologist at West Hertfordshire NHS Trust. He is actively involved in research and was a primary investigator on the use of botulinum toxin in idiopathic detrusor overactivity and has published on the use of botulinum toxin in overactive bladder, prostate cancer markers and robotic pelvic and partial nephrectomy surgery.
